1st Sunday of Lent English: The Spiritual Meaning of Lent

This homily was given at St. Francis de Sales.  The Gospel was Lk 5:1-11.  What Jesus went through in the 40 days in the desert, we must go through as well if we are to know who we are in God's eyes.
