This homily was given at St. Francis de Sales. The Gospel was Mk 10:17-27. We can bring Memorial Day into our Catholic Faith by praying for the souls of those who were killed in wars. Jesus asks us to be perfect as God, and so we offer prayers on behalf of those still in need of purification.
